Blue Tuohy is currently studying BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths University. With a particular interest in ideas around the sublime, Tuohy predominately focuses on merging physical encounters, natural forces and experiences. Primal references, such as photography, mirror her approach to paint, alongside an emotional response to our surroundings.
Abstract forms that play with light, colour and depth are a significant factor in Tuohy’s work, a process of underpinning the idea of purity and to decode the true essence of contemporary existence.
