Rebecca Mason officially launches Sentient this month at 67 The Old High Street!

Sentient is a new artist-run gallery and design multi space at 67 The Old High Street, showcasing the work of a number of artists and designers. The space adopts a colourful yet dark aesthetic, with thought provoking art, beautifully made homewares, jewellery and some unusual accessories.

The gallery soft opened 4 days per week during March, ahead of the formal opening on 22 April (when the website will also launch). Sign up for updates on art, design, gifts, special offers and the formal opening party at www.sentientroom.com. The space is keen to encourage art and design to suit a range of budgets, with prices starting at £3.75.

Rebecca said: “I moved to Folkestone from East London in summer 2016 after being attracted by the sea, gorgeous architecture, creative community, opportunities and friendly locals.  It’s also the perfect base for me to get to London for exhibitions and my Hackney Wick studio. I have long had a dream of running my own gallery space and am thrilled to be opening my new hybrid gallery and design boutique, Sentient.”
